Reebok Pump Omni Zone II
Reebok became the brand most associated with the fitness craze in the 1980s with the introduction of several groundbreaking sneaker technologies including Hexalite, DMX and the Pump.
In 1988, Paul Litchfield sought to create a new standard in performance basketball shoes to maximise support and have the best fit. Using the inflation technology, the Reebok Pump established a benchmark in the industry for best customising fit and support.
You might remember Boston Celtic Dee Brown famously pumping up his Reeboks before doing his “no look” dunk during the Slam Dunk Contest at the NBA All Star Week, February 9, 1991.
